We remember the atmosphere of those old Burger Joints from the 50’s and 60’s. We remember how warm they felt, how the comfort food they served left us full, satisfied and happy. Those restaurants felt like home, and that is the atmosphere we bring to our customers. What we serve at The Burger Shack is the same old-fashioned fresh food we remember from our childhood. It’s the same food you’ll see on a Saturday afternoon at The Burger Meister’s house. All we care about is sharing food we’d like to eat. No franchise, no big company stores, no hassle. Our menu items are made from the freshest ingredients and prepared the way they should be – with care and by hand, each and every day..

We start with ground chuck made from fresh, never-frozen Angus Beef. It only takes 5 days for the meat to go from the packing house to your plate – we’d have to own cows in the back for it to be any fresher! Each morning, we carefully form every patty into a one-third-pound circle of heaven. And that insistence on freshness makes our meals uniquely delicious.

Once you order, one of our talented Burger Chefs seasons your meat with our special seasoning and grills it to perfection. Who knew burgers could be works of art? While the sandwich is being assembled, your chef is butter-toasting your choice of a white or wheat bun fresh-baked in Texas by Ashcraft Bakery in Bellaire. To finish it off, we add the freshest available produce, and a masterpiece is born!

Of course, you’re going to want fries or rings with your burger. Don’t worry, we have you covered! We take fresh Idaho Russet Burbank Potatoes and juicy onions, wash them, cut them up, and fry them made-to-order.
